7:24 am
then they were protesters last night but protest did turn very violent. captain ron johnson says there were four police office their were injured from protestors throwing frozen water bottles and rocks thrown. two people were shot as well. thirty-one people were arrested many coming from across the country as far away as california, and new york. the these protesters are what he called the small minority, of agitators is what he called them. they come out at night, they use peaceful protest as cover to committees violent, criminal act. he he is calling for protesters to be armed, and doing so during the day so police can focus on these agitators as he calls them and take them off of the street. >> it was an odd situation last night because a lot of the community leaders were begging the protesters to stay on the sidewalk, and it was really working out well, many
7:25 am
in it seems like these out of towners came in and started throwing water bottles and making a mess out of it. do you have any idea what the plan might be for tonight. >> reporter: well, it certainly could have been much worse if it weren't for those community leaders. they were physically putting themselves between the police line and many of those protesters. pushing back. the those protesters that were becoming more unrulely. but tonight police are asking those protesters that are looking to do so peacefully to come out during the day time and not come out at night. so those that do come out then those are more unrulely and many times from out of town protesters and police can deal with them directly. police are also asking the protesters not to congregate in one area, for any given amount of time. that they stay on the have move. yesterday during the the day time that seemed to help, to keep the protesters, more peaceful ape to keep it all, the the situation stabilized, they are hoping that will work as well. >> thank you for that live

7:29 am
this is i80. look at this thing. hanging over, and, over pass. it has a tractor trailer i guess that is an overpass. what am i looking at here. this is hard to see. yeah, is the cab hanging over the edge, is that the cap and then the trailer itself, hanging on. this is wild. this is, i80 ridge field park, new jersey. if memory serves that is up close to manhattan. we are just getting this in too. look at this thing. it looks like a piece caught
7:30 am
fire too, char marks on the front of the trailer. it is just hanging there. we will get a better shot of it and we will get back to it. >> that is stuff, we have nightmares about, hanging off the side of the road like that, hopefully everybody is okay. lets look at our weather. we will start off with our pal, bus stop buddy, he is pool side this morning. it promises to be a good day here in the philadelphia area. further south we may see some showers. we have been talking about those in southern delaware and cape may county with temperature in the 50's and 60's mostly. upper 60's in philadelphia let's do some more numbers. we have eight out of ten. seasonal temperatures but a bit more humid then yesterday and we will see those scattered showers again. it looks like mostly sus zest count delaware affect. hopefully that is a morning event. you can clear out and have a decent day to day. 66 degrees right now. phillies game tonight looks
7:31 am
good with 79 degrees at 7:05. that is when game begins phillies verse mariners once again a southeasterly breeze tonight at 10 miles an hour. so today's high temperature should be right where we were yesterday. we did get to 83 degrees yesterday. a little more humid then it was, not excessive though. tonight we are down to 65 with a few clouds and that is your weather authority fox cast. now time is 7:31. let check those roads. 295 off ramp to route 30 north national park is there a disable vehicle partially blocking the the off ramp. in king of prussia, south warner road at east swedesford road, a report of a accident there, mike? >> back to this situation in ridge field park, so this tractor trailerand a half, closs ago. it is just north of the vince lombardi service area. so, this is new jersey turnpike where the vehicle went out of control, crashed through the guardrail.
7:32 am
the cab of the tractor trailer plunged into that overpass and creek below. rescue crew where is able to fish the driver out of the water, he was air lifted to a hospital. he is expect to survive. now northbound inner roadway of i-95 heading to route 80 west is closed heading up to the new york city area while the investigation continues. major delays in both directions on the turnpike. watch out for that. it its 7:42. it has been ten days since missouri teen michael brown was killed by police officers, by a police officer. he was unarmed. a grand jury could be formed as early as tomorrow to deciding whether charges should be brought against officer darren wilson, who shot him . since the shooting tensions have grown each day and especially overnight over what protesters and advocates say has been a case filled with racism and police brutality.
7:33 am
all of the facts, of course, are not in. we are bringing in our legal analyst ken rottweiler to explain some factors in this case, and what will be done. i heard so many people saying it will tone down if charges are somehow brought against the officer and we will all sort it all out in court, hi ken. >> how are you doing, mike. glad to see you back. >> good to be back. >> i think this is the most racially charged case since o.j. and i think it has potential to be more racially charged than o.j. and i will tell you why. there is two distinct store that is will come out here. what you will hear is that on the one hand the witness essay that michael brown was surrendering, he has his hands up and shot six times. if that is the true, officer well wilson will be tried and sent to jail for a very long time. however is there a second story emerging through this witness josey who supposedly is a friend of officer wilson and she relays officer
7:34 am
wilson's story which that is michael brown was at gress or here. that he was at gress or in this store. we saw that video when he pushed the store owner and then he goes supposedly there is this altercation in the police car where officer wilson i think will tell the story that michael brown was at gress or and the gun went off. then he is going to say and thinks the crucial part of the whole story here, mike. that michael brown charged him. there was what we call the bum's rush. he was charging towards officer wilson. officer wilson will say nerd to protect himself he needed to shoot michael brown. he is 6-foot, 300 pounds, he needed to shoot him. it will be a battle of which story do you believe. >> so, with the autopsy, and again, i hate to be even trying this on television, the the autopsy, it seems as if he
7:35 am
was shot in the front, not in the back as some people were saying. >> that is exactly right. six shots, in shots in the back, all in the front. that supports officer wilson's story. on the one hand, it will come down to what a jury believe. i believe number one that he is going to be indicted. they will i am panel a grand jury. probably by tomorrow. they will start hearing the evident. there is no doubt they will to have arrest him, charge him and jury will decide what they believe based on all of the evidence here because in the end i believe, mike there will be two distinct stories a there is was in the the trayvon mart had inn case and it will come down to what a jury believes the truth is. >> you never know with all of the cell phones out there, did somebody actually get footage of this, that we will eventually see. woman who is talking was on the radio station. we should have pulled audio of how she described what her friend, the the police officer, told her, of course,
7:36 am
it hasn't even been corroborated. she calls in the radio station in st. louis. >> the authorities have said that her account is the the exact same account that wilson gave in his statement. remember, police have had him in. wilson has given a full statement. >> why don't we know his statement. we had a shooting in philadelphia overnight, i have learned more about that shooting that happened four hours ago then the ferguson situation, a week ago. >> you are absolutely right. ferguson police are keeping their story very well under wraps. they are letting it out little by little. it is very clever what they did. remember when they told us who officer wilson was, the same day that they told us who he was, that he is this white police officer was the same day that they showed michael brown -- >> was that inappropriate. >> they consider it clever. you can say inappropriate or not but what they are trying to do just don't think this officer wilson did something that he was this crazy police officer. is there reasons to believe
7:37 am
that michael brown did some things wrong and as a result of some things wrong, officer wilson has done or things in their they had. everybody is shaping story the way they want. these three witnesses, i have listened to their stories. is there contradictionness their stories. right now we don't know what the total truth is. the truth will come out. i think, you are right, mike, there may be other people out there that had cell phones and may have taken video of this. i think there will be other witness that he is will come out and they will corroborate three witnesses that have come forward already or they will be in contra digs to that. >> there is another tape out there, where you hear two people saying, i just saw this go down, and they describe what the woman describe. >> i have to tell you, i think, you know, i know it is racially charged but this will separate white and black america. i think people will see it through prism through the color of their skin. i have heard people talk about my african-american friends see it one way my white
7:38 am
friends see it another way. i think it will be a story that will go on for a long time because this case will be tried in the courtroom. it will be bigger than the o.j. case. do i, because you can see it happening in ferguson in the community right now. >> well, we can relate to it in every city in america better than you can to a o.j. case. >> i think bigger issue here mike is the relationship between the african-american community and police. i think that is the big issue that is going on in ferguson. when you hear residents in ferguson talking about this case they talk about the the ad czar i relation hip. >> that has gone on for years. >> that is because of the elephant in the room here. it is the bigger issue. this whole thing with michael brown. it has just made this all bubble to the surface but it will be a big, big, big thing. this story is not,ing ago way soon. >> 07 percent of the population in ferguson is african-american. they have 53 police officers. they have only 36789 they have city council of six people. only one is african-american.
7:39 am
>> this prosecutor is also white this prosecutor is very interesting, his father was killed by a black man when he was 12 years old. his father was a police officer. you have another side story with the prosecutor, who is supposedly i am paneling this grand jury. >> got to go, thanks, a lot. >> good to see you 7:39. do you want to try the best stake in the world. you don't to have go very far. i will tell you where it is. i'll give you a hint. is there a big one visually. it is in atlantic city. which steak house is consider the the best i
